Breme Care Home in Bromsgrove
One of the truly special things about Breme care home in Bromsgrove is the devotion of our team, many of whom have been with us for years. Their care and dedication support our residents to live life to the full.
Rated ‘Good’ in every area by the CQC, we provide both residential and dementia care in Bromsgrove, as well as respite care breaks.
These short-stay respite breaks can be pre-booked at our dedicated Mulberry suite, the first of it's kind in Bromsgrove. These breaks are ideal for caregivers who look after elderly relatives to take a short break themselves, knowing their loved one is in safe hands.
Breme has a wonderfully warm, homely feel and our residents have spacious bedrooms with walk-in wet rooms. Some also have direct patio access to the large gardens.
Activities at our care home in Bromsgrove - enriching lives
Our activities team are passionate about engaging residents in a wide range of activities that they choose. Activities include a host of exciting trips to places like Weston-super-Mare. We also do gentle exercise sessions, and excursions in the minibus to a host of local attractions like Droitwich Canal, a gardening club, quizzes, crafts, knitting, and cheese and wine nights.
The team love creating ‘spa’ pamper sessions, with hand massages, foot spas, aromatherapy, and manicures. We also have a mobile hairdresser visiting for weekly appointments in our salon.
Breme has a beautiful day room for group activities, like our cookery club and ploughman’s luncheons, movie matinees, and race nights.
Our home has wonderful community connections – a vicar joins us for regular services, as well as a therapy dog, school children, and friends from our neighboring sheltered housing schemes, who love coffee mornings at our care home in Bromsgrove.
Breme also has a partnership with Bromsgrove Sporting Football Club in Worcestershire. The club welcomes our residents to come along to match days and other events taking place which support the elderly community in conjunction with Age UK Bromsgrove, Redditch and Wyre Forest.

What are the gardens like?
Breme’s extensive gardens are wonderful for our gardening club, with residents growing their own produce, which can be used in the kitchen. We even have raised beds for those who have greater physical disabilities.
What is the food like?
Head chef Annette makes mealtimes a real highlight, with delicious home-cooking every day, from freshly made soups and fish and chip Fridays to traditional roasts with all the trimmings. Her specialty is baking, with delicious cakes and biscuits every day for afternoon tea.
And our residents also enjoy our weekly cookery club, where they make everything from pizzas and cupcakes to bread-and-butter pudding.

Pricing information
It is usual for residents in care homes to contribute to the cost of their own care. Some people have the resources to pay for this in full, whilst others make means-tested contributions.
Our weekly fees are individual to each of our residents and are subject to a pre-admission assessment, which is required to understand the level of care and support needed. Our 2024 weekly care fees for residential care start from £1,213 but may be in the region of 30% more*. This depends on your care needs and the type of bedroom that is right for you, from our standard rooms through to our premium bedroom options.
*If you require more specialist care such as 1-2-1 support, your weekly fee could be higher.
Visit our Paying for Care page for information on how to pay for care.
