Our spacious bedrooms have walk-in wet-rooms, and some have direct patio access to the enclosed gardens. Haven has a hairdressing salon for appointments with our mobile hairdresser, and a quiet room/library.
The sun terrace on Churchill Walk offers a beautiful view of the gardens. And our calming room is a peaceful place with gentle lights and music, perfect for residents with dementia.

At Haven the family of our residents are truly embraced into life in the home. The team are dedicated to making sure our relatives feel this is a family home that they are very much part of. They are welcome to visit at any time and often join us for celebrations and activities.
Gardens at our care home in Pinner
The large, landscaped gardens at Haven Residential Care Home in Pinner are a tranquil retreat. With raised planters and wheelchair friendly pathways they can be enjoyed by all of our residents.
There is a pavilion with seating and our residents have beds for planting vegetables and aromatic herbs. Our chef uses these to make tasty food for the residents, giving them a feeling of accomplishment.
During the warm weather our gardens are perfect for family gatherings, like our recent 10th anniversary garden party. Families and people from the local community joined us for a barbecue. There was live music and a magic show too.
It was a very special day, celebrating a decade at our care home in Harrow. And to top it off, Father David Green officially blessed the home with a special religious service.

Activities at Haven Residential Care Home
Our residents enjoy so many engaging activities. With a dedicated activities co-ordinator, there is so much to do.
We have a gardening club, music sessions, pamper sessions and garden games. We also have gentle exercise sessions, which can be adapted for those with greater physical disabilities. Our residents also enjoy visits from local school children, musicians and entertainers. We welcome volunteers into the home, keeping our residents connected to the local Hatch End community. These can be work experience students to older volunteers, who take part in activities or simply enjoy having a chat.
Mealtimes are also a real highlight, with head chef Karroll’s delicious home-cooking and baking. Reminiscence sessions are wonderful for our residents living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
The home is very close to Harrow Arts Centre, Pinner Green and Pinner Memorial Park, with its lake and gardens.

Weekly fees at our care home in Pinner, are individual to each of our residents and are subject to a pre-admission assessment. This is required to understand the level of care and support needed. Our 2024 weekly care fees for residential care start from £1,595 but may be in the region of 30% more*. This depends on your care needs and the type of bedroom that is right for you, from our standard rooms through to our premium bedroom options.
