Time Court Care Home in Charlton
Residents and loved ones often describe Time Court as more than a care home, they describe it as ‘everything they need in one place’ under one roof, without having to step outside into their local community of Charlton, London. Not that this stops our team and residents enjoying a day trip or two in the local community.
From a cinema room, complete with a projector and movie-style screen, a place of worship and an activity room, which acts as the hub of the home, residents, who many live with early-onset dementia are never short of things to do.
The corridors are often ringing with laughter and music, depending what the home’s dedicated activities coordinator has planned for the day – and that’s just how we like it. It’s our residents’ home and it feels like home the moment you step through the door.
As you can tell stimulating and creative activities are a real feature of this care home and residents often are seen enjoying a game of bingo, toe-tapping music from local Charlton artists, or whipping up buttercream as they decorate cupcakes.
Whether our residents love animals, enjoy a pamper session in the home’s hairdressing salon or prefer to knit and natter about the good old days of Charlton, activities are person-centred and as uniquely different as our wonderful residents.
Not only are they shaped by our residents’ likes and dislikes, but we take great care in making sure they are suitable for their needs, while wholeheartedly ensuring that we are always inclusive. So, for our residents requiring dementia care, nursing care or residential care, we know they all deserve to have the very best activities suitable for them at their fingertips.
A care home in the heart of Charlton
Our care home is stunning to look at and includes a tranquil quadrangle garden. Time Court is tucked away in a quiet residential area of Charlton, close to a string of shops and eateries.
Not only that but we are a 15-minute walk away from Woolwich Dockyard train station, providing direct access to London’s wonderful attractions, so the location is perfect.
As well as admiring our local attractions in and around Charlton, we also work very hard to make our care home somewhere that hosts wonderful events throughout the year when we throw open the doors for a real knees-up. From Silver Sunday celebrations to stalls galore at our summer fayre, loved ones and friends are always welcome. We love to see new faces and meet new people, which helps our residents to remain connected to their community.
Children from local primary and high schools often visit us, sometimes to take part in arts and crafts or perform dance routines. Every visit is as special as the last and a real highlight in all our calendars.
Pricing information
It is usual for residents in care homes to contribute to the cost of their own care. Some people have the resources to pay for this in full, whilst others make means-tested contributions.
Our weekly fees are individual to each of our residents and are subject to a pre-admission assessment, which is required to understand the level of care and support needed. Our 2023 weekly care fees for nursing care start at £1,580, but may be in the region of 30% more*. This depends on your care needs and the type of bedroom that is right for you, from our standard rooms through to our premium bedroom options.
*If you require more specialist care such as 1-2-1 support, your weekly fee could be higher.
How do I find out more about paying for care?
We have dedicated advisors in our Care Enquiry Hub, who can signpost you regarding funding care and give you more information about the home. If you would like to speak to them directly please call 0800 046 4903. If you are interested in viewing the home and speaking to a member of staff directly, we can also give you a ‘show around’ either in person or a remote virtual tour.
Based on a survey completed by our residents and their loved ones.
