Cedar Grange is a beautiful building set on the outskirts of historic market town of Launceston - known as the 'Gateway to Cornwall'.

At Cedar Grange, we look after residents with a variety of needs and requirements, from residential to general nursing care. Our highly trained staff provide quality and trusted care, giving you total peace of mind that your loved one is in safe hands. 

The care we provide is unique to each one of our residents. We work with our residents and their loved ones to create personalised care plans that are continually updated to adapt to any changing needs with a real emphasis on understand each resident’s personal history, likes and dislikes and needs.  

We also offer pre-bookable short and longer term respite care - designed for residents requiring a temporary stay with us. This could be following a hospital stay, if their primary caregiver is away, or they simply want to see what life could be like at Cedar Grange.

At Cedar Grange, we are committed to enhancing the quality of life of our residents through enriching experiences. If our residents choose to, they can enjoy:

Sanctuary Care is proudly for people, not for profit. This means any of our surplus income goes straight back into our homes, residents and staff. It enables us to continually provide the level of support you or your loved one deserves. 

Our staff are trained to deliver support to people living with different forms of dementia, such as Alzheimer’s, as well as many other illnesses. They do so in a dignified and compassionate way. 
 

It is usual for residents in care homes to contribute to the cost of their own care. Some people have the resources to pay for this in full, whilst others make means-tested contributions.

Our weekly fees are individual to each of our residents and are subject to a pre-admission assessment, which is required to understand the level of care and support needed. Our 2024 weekly care fees for residential care start from £1,511, and for nursing care £1,995 but may be in the region of 30% more*. This depends on your care needs and the type of bedroom that is right for you, from our standard rooms through to our premium bedroom options.

*If you require more specialist care such as 1-2-1 support, your weekly fee could be higher.
