Our housing support service empowers local residents on the Isle of Cumbrae to continue to live independently in their own homes.

Nestled in Millport, we are located in a quiet coastal town in Ayrshire, which is easily reached by a ferry service from the mainland. Our team and dignified service is only ten minutes from Largs, on the west coast of Scotland.

It’s these ‘smalls things’ that make a huge impact on the lives of many. We support with household tasks, including shopping and budgeting, as well as personal care. With us, our local residents can continue to live a rewarding life and remain a part of their Millport community – and what a community it is.

Millport is a small yet vibrant island town offering plenty of opportunities for people to integrate with local people. And with us by their side, those we care for can continue to do just that.

The individuals we support in Millport are encouraged to be involved in the thriving island community, and further afield on the mainland of Scotland, to develop and maintain friendships.

Meeting new people and nurturing relationships is an extremely important part of life. Many individuals felt isolated before our supported living care but now they very much enjoy reigniting their social lives which they have missed for some time.

Also, thanks to our supported living care, our local residents have access to local employment, volunteering and educational opportunities, or simply back the most of local leisure opportunities in Millport. A variety of facilities and services are available on the island including bike hire, boat trips, hairdressing and alternative therapies.

And with our support, they can jump on a ferry, which operates every 15 to 30 minutes, to access Scotland’s wonderful attractions, including leisure and education facilities.

Rated Very Good by the Care Inspectorate (CI)

We receive wide-spread praise from our residents and their loved ones, which makes everything so worthwhile. But another personal achievement for our team is our most recent CI report, where we were rated ‘Very Good’ in ‘Quality of care and support’ and ‘Quality of staffing’.
