Built in 2018, Ridgewood Court sits right at the heart of the village. We’re also just a 15-minute drive from Birkenhead, so we’re easy to reach.

  60 spacious bedrooms with en-suite wet rooms – we encourage our residents to make the space their own with reminders of treasured memories.

• a hair and beauty salon, with a nail bar for those who fancy a pampering session.
• a vintage tea room
• a dedicated dining room where we gather to enjoy freshly-cooked home cuisine – lovingly prepared on-site by our chefs.
• wheelchair-friendly gardens with raised flower beds, plots where residents can grow veggies, and our own aviary.

There’s so much to do at our Wirral care home. The team regularly organises engaging activities for residents to get involved in, including:

• afternoon tea in our gardens and cheese and wine events – always popular with our residents.
• getting involved with our old-fashioned sweet shop, where residents can weigh out classic sweets on antique scales - a step back in time, especially for our residents with dementia and memory loss.
• visits to the Wirral’s many beauty spots, such as Ridgewood Park, and Harrock Wood in Birkenhead. We also visit the local churches and the Wirral Methodist Centre.

Pricing information

It is usual for residents in care homes to contribute to the cost of care. Some people have the resources to pay for this in full, whilst others make means-tested contributions.

Our weekly fees are individual to each of our residents and are subject to a pre-admission assessment, which is required to understand the level of care and support needed.
