Redannick Care Home, Truro

Redannick is a spacious, purpose-built home in a residential area of Truro - just five minutes away from the city centre. Our care home features four wings, each with its own lounge, kitchenette, dining room and dedicated member of our team. Residents can always look their best in our hairdressing room. And Wi-Fi is available throughout the home.

We also have two lovely, enclosed garden areas, one of which includes a wonderful eye-level pond. They're wheelchair accessible, so everyone can enjoy them, and they can be reached from the Red and Orange Wings of our nursing home. The Orange Wing also has a relaxing conservatory, which is always a popular spot.

When you step through the front doors of our Truro care home, you'll find a warm and friendly atmosphere. Staff and residents share close bonds. They're all part of the Sanctuary family - as are the loved ones of our residents. We love welcoming the friends and family of those we care for into our home for a visit.

At Redannick, we pride ourselves on offering a loving environment where choice, respect and autonomy are paramount. We constantly assess and review the individual needs of our residents - whether it's assistance for people as they get older or support with a more complex health condition or dementia.

When residents join us, at our care home in Truro, the first thing we do is develop a comprehensive care plan, built to meet their specific needs. We set out the care we aim to provide and how we'll achieve this.

Our residents can also rest assured our team is on hand to support them, 24 hours a day, seven days a week - for total peace of mind.

Individuality and activity are important to us, at Redannick. Our residents can enjoy both peace and quiet, as well as socialise amongst good company. Most of our activities are held in our main communal area - it's the home's hub.

We welcome local nursery children for visits, which helps our residents to feel connected with their local community.

We regularly organise gentle chair yoga sessions, arts and crafts sessions where residents can show off their creativity, friendly games of bingo and lots more. So, there's always an activity to get involved in. No two days are the same at our care home in Truro.

Pricing information

It is usual for residents in care homes to contribute to the cost of their own care. Some people have the resources to pay for this in full, whilst others make means-tested contributions.

Our weekly fees are individual to each of our residents and are subject to a pre-admission assessment, which is required to understand the level of care and support needed. Our 2024 weekly care fees for residential care start from £1,296 and for nursing care £1,485, but may be in the region of 30% more*. This depends on your care needs and the type of bedroom that is right for you, from our standard rooms through to our premium bedroom options.

*If you require more specialist care such as 1-2-1 support, your weekly fee could be higher.
