The Green Care Home in Redruth

The Green Residential Care Home features 43 bedrooms – with a mixture of small and double rooms featuring toilets and sinks.

We encourage residents to really make their rooms their own, with trinkets and reminders of loved ones. It’s a private space we want residents to be able to feel comfortable in as they relax and unwind.

Our care home in Redruth has seven communal areas – each named after local beaches and equipped with Wi-Fi. These areas are a lively hub of activity, with residents catching up, making plans for the day and enjoying each other’s company.

These communal areas include lounge diners with kitchenettes and a courtyard with a pond. We want residents to enjoy their independence, so they can make snacks and refreshments as and when they please. We also have a tuck shop where residents can stock up on treats.

When mealtimes arrive, we gather in the diners to enjoy hearty home-cooked food. Our chef regularly receives lots of compliments – not just from our residents, but from our visitors too!

At The Green, we support people with personal and dementia care needs. Each resident has a key worker, which helps to ensure a personalised service. Our team is experienced in supporting elderly people affected by a variety of illnesses.

When you or your loved one joins us at The Green, the first thing we do is develop a comprehensive care plan, designed to meet individual needs. We set out the care we aim to provide and how we’ll achieve this.

This care plan is assessed on a continual basis. It’s delivered by our passionate carers, who work with our residents to ensure their needs are met.

Independence is hugely important to us, at Sanctuary Care. We’re firm believers that life as it was doesn’t have to end when a person moves into a care home. Our residents are free to make their own plans and spend their time in whatever way suits them best.

Everyone needs to take a break at some point – even carers. We offer a pre-bookable respite care service at The Green Residential Care Home, designed to allow carers to organise short-to-long-term care for a loved one while they take a break.

Pricing information

It is usual for residents in care homes to contribute to the cost of their own care. Some people have the resources to pay for this in full, whilst others make means-tested contributions.

Our weekly fees are individual to each of our residents and are subject to a pre-admission assessment, which is required to understand the level of care and support needed. Our 2024 weekly care fees for residential care start from £1,473 but may be in the region of 30% more*. This depends on your care needs and the type of bedroom that is right for you, from our standard rooms through to our premium bedroom options.
