Trevarna Nursing Home in St Austell

The facilities at Trevarna include: 

• 54 bedrooms, 14 with en-suite bathrooms and five with toilet and washing facilities. Some of the larger bedrooms also offer direct access to the secure gardens. 
• Bright communal areas, with five spacious lounge and dining rooms where our residents enjoy home-cooked nutritious meals. 
• A hairdressing salon. 
• An established garden with wheelchair-friendly pathways, perfect for our green-fingered residents.

 Our team are committed to enhancing the quality of resident’s lives through our personalised care, and engaging experiences.  

 There’s always lots going on around our nursing home to get involved in. Our dedicated activities team is always hard at work, preparing engaging events for our residents. These include arts and crafts sessions, visits from local entertainers, choir groups and lots more. 

Care at Trevarna is personalised, supporting our residents’ individual needs - whether they’re living with a form of dementia or affected by a complex health condition.  

 Our team of trusted carers and nurses work closely with our residents and their loved ones to create our detailed and tailored care plans. This ensures we can enrich our residents’ lives, looking at what makes every resident unique. 

 We also offer short term care through our respite care service. Our respite care stays can be booked from one to six weeks and provides peace of mind when a primary caregiver is away or following a hospital stay.

 As a not-for-profit care organisation, we ensure all of our surplus income goes back into our residents, care homes and staff. We’re always looking to make our care and home the very best it can be. 

It is usual for residents in care homes to contribute to the cost of their care. Some people have the resources to pay for this in full, whilst others make means-tested contributions.  

Our weekly fees are individual to each of our residents and are subject to a pre-admission assessment, which is required to understand the level of care and support needed.
