Care homes in Cornwall

When we acquired Cornwall Care in 2022, we welcomed 13 care homes in Cornwall to Sanctuary Care. These not-for-profit care homes specialise in supporting elderly people, with care built around their needs.

You’ll find our care homes right across the country: Launceston, Newquay and Wadebridge in the North, Callington and Liskeard in the East, Truro, Redruth, St Ives and Camborne in the West, St Austell in the Southeast and Falmouth in the South.

What types of support do our Cornwall care homes provide?

All our homes across the region provide bespoke residential, dementia and respite care, with full-time care tailored to each resident.

Our respite care service is designed to allow carers to take a short break from their daily caregiving duties, while the person they support continues to receive the dedicated support they deserve.

Eight of our homes also provide nursing care – a more complex level of round-the-clock care for people living with long-term conditions and disabilities.

Additionally, we also offer palliative care in Cornwall – at five of our care homes. We support people and their families in the final stages of a life-limiting condition with compassionate and dignified care.

Proudly not-for-profit

We’re extremely proud to be a not-for-profit care provider. Any surplus income from our Cornwall care homes is reinvested in making them and the care we deliver even better – for our staff and residents.
