An extract from the CQC report reads: "The staff are very caring and kind, they know how I like things done." Another person told inspectors: "I am very happy here, the staff are wonderful. I get on well with them and they chat with me and share a joke. Some are more like family to me."
Our care home in Basingstoke
Residents in our care home have supported the team to transform the gardens. We invested in some new tools, lightweight wheelbarrows, wheelchair friendly raised planters and with a little elbow grease, during the summer the grounds are now bursting with colour. There’s every flower you can imagine, tomato plants galore and hanging baskets lovingly created by the residents.
Inside the care home itself, there’s so many spaces to enjoy including:
- A bistro-style coffee lounge
- En-suite bedrooms some of which have their own kitchenette and lounge
- A hairdressing salon for all your pampering needs.
For those who thrive on social stimulation, the team organise a whole host of activities to support our ethos of enriching lives. Activities include; cheese and wine evenings, intergenerational visits from local schools, scouts and guide groups, flower arranging and regular exercise and wellbeing sessions with ‘Oomph on Demand’.
Pre-bookable respite care in Basingstoke
As well as residential care and dementia care, if you are looking for local care homes in Basingstoke that offer short stay and longer-term local respite services, then look no further. These are perfect for caregivers in our local community who look after elderly relatives at home and need a carers’ break.
They are flexible stays so can be pre-booked in advance, for a couple of weeks or if you prefer, something longer. And with tailored care plans bespoke to your loved one’s needs, you have the peace of mind of knowing we are providing a high standard of person-centred care.
Price information
It is usual for residents in care homes to contribute to the cost of their own care. Some people have the resources to pay for this in full, whilst others make means-tested contributions.
Our weekly fees are individual to each of our residents and are subject to a pre-admission assessment, which is required to understand the level of care and support needed. Our 2024 weekly care fees for residential care start from £1,381 but may be in the region of 30% more*. This depends on your care needs and the type of bedroom that is right for you, from our standard rooms through to our premium bedroom options.
*If you require more specialist care such as 1-2-1 support, your weekly fee could be higher.
