Welcome to Ayrshire, the birthplace of Scotland's national poet, Robert Burns, and the home of the country's only Grade 1 racecourse.
We currently have two nursing homes in Ayrshire. They're both situated in the south of the county, with Glenfairn House in Ayr and Queens in Prestwick.
Our teams across the county are dedicated to enriching the lives of elderly people, providing them with the support they need to live comfortably during later life.
Our Ayrshire care homes offer 24-hour nursing care for people with complex health conditions requiring more intensive support. We also provide person-centric residential, dementia, palliative and respite care at these locations.
Temporary respite care allows caregivers to take a short break from their regular duties. It provides seamless support for those receiving care and the perfect taster of life with Sanctuary Care.
Sanctuary Care is proudly not-for-profit. This means we reinvest any surplus income in the elements that matter most to us - our residents, staff, and care homes.
Our Scottish care homes are regulated and inspected by the Care Inspectorate. We're regularly assessed and evaluated to ensure the care we deliver meets the highest standards.
We include links to our latest Care Inspectorate reports on each Scottish care home page - for your peace of mind.
