The Allard Respite Care Suite in Pershore  

Dedicated to enriching lives, the team at Heathlands are proud to unveil the Allard Respite Suite. Unlike anywhere locally, it has an eight-bed suite completely dedicated to pre-bookable respite breaks, which can be booked up to six months in advance. So, if you are caring for a loved one and would like to book a little time for yourself, perhaps to go on holiday or visit family and friends, we are here.

With our team ready to provide care and companionship in this beautiful, newly-refurbished accommodation, we are confident that a respite care break here will feel like a short holiday for those joining us.

We were thrilled to launch the suite on 19 May, with guests from the Pershore community joining us for canapés and prosecco.

Our eight bedrooms are all beautifully decorated and furnished, with level access, non-slip walk-in wet rooms, Smart TVs and garden views. There is an open plan lounge and dining room, to enjoy inspiring activities and delicious home-cooked cuisine, prepared by the home’s chef.

There is a cosy study to relax or catch up with friends and family, who are welcome to visit at any time. And for those who like to get out and about, there are trips in the minibus.

The Allard Respite Suite also boasts a private decking and garden area with seating, to relax and enjoy the sunshine.

Our unique offering - a little bit of background

We have always provided respite care in Worcestershire at all of our nine homes, but we know from talking to people who enjoy these breaks and their loved ones, that being able to book them in advance is so important.

As a not-for-profit provider, we are proud to invest money into our care homes, so after listening to what people wanted locally, we completely refurbished part of the home to create this unique suite, offering pre-bookable respite care in Pershore. And we are taking bookings as we speak!

Pricing Information

It is usual for residents in care homes to contribute to the cost of their own care. Some people have the resources to pay for this in full, whilst others make means-tested contributions.

Our weekly fees are individual to each of our residents and are subject to a pre-admission assessment, which is required to understand the level of care and support needed. 

Our 2023 weekly care fees for residential respite care start from £1,470 but may be in the region of 30% more*. This depends on your care needs and the type of bedroom that is right for you, from our standard rooms through to our premium bedroom options.

*If you require more specialist care such as 1-2-1 support, your weekly fee could be higher.
