Keeping our residents connected to the community outside the care home is so important. Here’s a snapshot of life outside Queens:
- Our residents enjoy trips outside our care home into Prestwick to the local over 65s club, as well as pub quizzes and visits to our local Sanctuary Care home.
- We have residents who volunteer in the local community, like Ann, who loves her days at the British Red Cross shop, near our care home in Prestwick.
- Last summer some of our residents enjoyed a caravan holiday to Craig Tara Haven holiday park. From playing games in the arcades to dancing to live music, they had a blast!
