We have our own chef at Ashley House, so residents can enjoy freshly prepared, nutritious food throughout the day.

Mealtimes are always a highlight – with ‘Fish and Chips Friday’ and Sunday roasts with all the trimmings being favourites. Plus, there are always homemade desserts and cakes for afternoon tea.

Sometimes living with dementia can affect an older person’s appetite, making it difficult to make meal choices.

Our chef plates up beautifully presented dishes, which are taken to our residents’ tables. It means they can visualise and smell the food, which can encourage them to eat.

We’re extremely proud to have a team devoted to enriching the lives of our residents. Many of our carers have been with us for more than a decade!

As a not-for-profit care provider, we ensure any of our surplus income goes back into making sure our team has the training it needs to provide excellent care.

This surplus income also goes into making our care home in Bordon, Hampshire the very best it can be for our residents.

Our residents play a huge part in how their home is run and looks. We have a resident ambassador who contributes to our recruitment of new team members.

It is common for residents in care homes to contribute to the cost of their care home fees. Some people have the resources to pay for this in full, whilst others make means-tested contributions.

Our weekly fees are individual to each of our residents due to the difference in care requirements and are subject to a pre-admissions assessment.
