Life at Barony Lodge
We're proud of the supportive and inclusive atmosphere we've created at our Nantwich care home. There are lots of fantastic facilities around the home, where we host engaging activities, including:
• our Art Deco-style cinema room with a popcorn machine – the spot for a film and a glass of fizz on Fizzy Fridays.
• our vintage tearoom – where our residents can help themselves to a cup of coffee alongside homemade cakes and cookies.
• our beautiful salon and nail bar – here, we treat our residents to pamper sessions with manicures and hand massages.
• our relaxation room with mood lighting, diffusers, lamps and tactile materials – it's therapeutic for residents living with dementia.
• our interactive tablet – which residents love to play games on.
• our lovely garden – with raised flowerbeds, fruit trees and wheelchair-friendly pathways.
• our miniature greenhouse – where our green-fingered residents love to grow their own vegetables.
Barony Lodge is also just a short walk from cafés and shops, with wheelchair-friendly pathways along the banks of the River Weaver.
We also run a monthly dementia café, in partnership with the End of Life Partnership Cheshire, inviting people from the local community to join us.
Respite care at our Nantwich care home
We know that carers looking after elderly relatives in our community need support. At Barony Lodge, as well as providing residential and dementia care, we can provide both short and long-term respite care breaks.
These breaks can also be planned – if you have a holiday or event coming up. Your loved one will continue to receive a consistent level of care, while getting to sample life with Sanctuary.

Pricing at our care home in Nantwich, Cheshire
It is usual for residents in care homes to contribute to the cost of their care. Some people have the resources to pay for this in full, whilst others make means-tested contributions.
Our weekly fees are individual to each of our residents and are subject to a pre-admission assessment, which is required to understand the level of care and support needed.
