Are you looking for a little bit of extra help for you or a loved one?
Our residential care homes in Worcestershire allow support elderly people with day-to-day living.
We tailor the care we deliver to individual needs and promote independence – here, at Sanctuary, we believe in enriching the lives of our residents.
They can continue to enjoy a fulfilling life, safe in the knowledge there’s a compassionate care team on hand whenever they do require support. Whether it’s support with getting dressed for the day ahead, assistance with medication or help getting round the home – help is always there.
Our care is provided within a set of comfortable and friendly environments. Each home has a range of excellent facilities for our residents to enjoy. And our teams regularly organise and run engaging activities. So, no two days are ever the same at our Worcestershire care homes – and they’re never boring!
We pride ourselves on providing dedicated support for individuals affected by dementia from our care homes across Worcestershire.
Our approach is person-centric – we get to know every resident as the individual they are. This helps us to understand their needs and create tailored care plans.
There are always meaningful activities for residents living with dementia to get involved in – including reminiscence therapy and sensory activities. And our homes have close to ties with their local communities, which helps our residents to feel connected.
Here, at Sanctuary, we understand how challenging it can be for loved ones after a dementia diagnosis. Our teams are there to help families get a better understanding of the illness. Many of our dementia care homes in Worcestershire also run support groups for the relatives of our residents.
Each of our care homes offers pre-bookable short and longer-term respite care in Worcestershire.
Our Heathlands Residential Care Home in Pershore and Breme Residential Care Home in Bromsgrove also have their own dedicated suites for respite care breaks.
Our respite care service can enable caregivers to take a well-earned break away from their duties, and the person they care for to continue to receive the high-quality support they need in a compassionate environment. We can also offer dedicated support for you or a loved one during a period of convalescence - as you or they recover from a hospital stay or a period of illness.
We love to welcome new people into our warm and friendly homes. During a temporary stay, respite residents can get to know our staff, form new friendships with like-minded seniors and benefit from our excellent facilities. For many residents, it's provided the perfect introduction to life in a Sanctuary care home and has resulted in them becoming permanent residents.
Our Worcestershire care homes also offer a welcoming space for the elderly in our communities to socialise, meet new people and chat over refreshments and homemade cakes. Find your nearest venue below:
