“It’s a privilege to work in our residents’ home” – Elaine on life at Barony Lodge

We meet Elaine, who says her first year working at our care home in Nantwich has “flown by” and explains why she couldn’t be happier.

After spotting an advert for a receptionist’s position at Barony Lodge Residential Care Home, Elaine Anderson did her own research.

“I went on the Sanctuary Care website and looked at different reviews and thought it looked like a nice place to work – and it is, I really enjoy it and look forward to coming to work every day.”

For Elaine, the best part about working at Barony Lodge is the family feel of the home.

“The staff and residents are lovely,” she says. “They feel like an extended part of your family. It’s a really satisfying job and a privilege to work in our residents’ home.”

And for Elaine, the team and manager Jackie make it a very special place to work. “It’s a happy place,” she adds. “Jackie is brilliant, and I feel so supported.”
