Double success at national Care Home Awards 2023
We are celebrating after winning Outstanding Larger Group Care Provider at the Care Home Awards 2023!
The national awards, run by Care Home Management, are an annual benchmark of innovation and excellence in care business management, operations, and delivery of service.
We won the award following the launch of our Enriching Lives framework. An inspiring initiative in the care sector, this framework was introduced following academic research into the six senses that people need to feel truly happy and fulfilled (including a sense of significance, achievement, security, continuity, purpose, and belonging).
The framework takes person-centred care to the next level, whilst supporting residents and staff to work towards their individual goals.
And the success didn’t stop there, we were also awarded a “high commendation” in the ‘Best for Training and Development’ category, in recognition of our dedication to staff.
As a not-for-profit organisation we continually invest in the development of staff, with an internal Learning and Development Team which each year, sees over 400 members of staff achieve a nationally recognised work-based qualification. Many courses are accredited with The CPD Certification Service, reflecting best practice, industry standards and providing a structured learning experience.
Other highlights include our Overseas Recruitment Programme, Nursing Associate and Assistant Practitioner Apprenticeship Scheme, and work towards our Opening Doors, Pride in Care accreditation, which aims to enhance support for residents in the LGBTQ+ community.
This commitment to training and development enables Sanctuary Care to provide the highest quality care to our residents.
