Rowena on why she loves working at Barony

Meet Rowena, who tells us why she gets such job satisfaction after joining the team at Barony Lodge Residential Care Home in Nantwich.

Rowena joined the team as a covid tester in February after completing a degree in Health Science as a mature student – and absolutely loves spending time with the residents.

“I love my job at Barony Lodge and feel very happy,” she says. “I really like being with the residents and knowing I am helping to keep them safe.

“It’s the interaction with the residents that I enjoy the most and being part of their everyday lives.”

In her role, Rowena is responsible for testing the loved ones and visitors who come to see the residents, as well as regularly testing her colleagues and residents.

“It’s so rewarding for me,” adds Rowena. “I would recommend working here because it has a real family feel with a great team.”
